The candidates should be willing to relocate to Kenya for a period of at least two (2) years.
- Offer academic and administrative leadership;
- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Contribute to curriculum internationalisation;
- Mentor junior academic and research staff;
- Supervise research and mentor diverse student cohorts;
- Engage in impactful research, publications, and grant applications;
- Support global partnerships and cross-cultural initiatives;
- Bring fresh, global perspectives to the classroom and the University at large;
- Community service and outreach.
- A minimum of a relevant PhD, Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Software Engineering/ Data Science/Computer Informatics/ Artificial Intelligence or a relevant field from an accredited and recognised University;
Additional Qualification Requirements:
- Must be currently serving at the level of a Senior Lecturer in an accredited University;
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the university level;
- Must have evidence of publications, attendance and contribution at academic conferences and having attracted research funds;
- Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students to completion;
- Demonstrable leadership and administrative experience, and abilities.
