To support the institution’s strategic objectives by building and sustaining partnerships, mobilising resources, and securing funding through grants, sponsorships, and strategic collaborations. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Affairs, Marketing and Liaison, the position holder will be responsible for the following:
- Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, corporate sponsors, and development partners.
- Represent the institution in meetings, conferences, and other engagements related to resource mobilisation.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and donations.
- Develop and submit funding proposals and grant applications to donors and funding organisations.
- Work with academic and administrative units to identify resource needs and funding priorities.
- Assist faculty and researchers in securing funding for academic programs, projects, and research initiatives.
- Organise alumni networking events, mentorship programs, and fundraising drives.
- Prepare reports for donors, management, and other stakeholders on fund utilisation and impact
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in your detailed job description;
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, International Relations or a related field from a recognised university
- At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in a large and reputable organisation
- A relevant and recognised professional qualification
- Membership to a relevant and recognised professional body
