We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional, responsible for the strategic leadership of the
University\'s admissions function and the coordination of curriculum development, oversight and academic
governance. Reporting to the Deputy Registrar- Academic Affairs, the position holder will be responsible
for:
- Oversee and monitor the entire admissions process, including application review, selection, and
issuance of admission letters, and prepare related management reports. - Develop and implement student recruitment strategies in liaison with marketing and communications
teams. - Coordinate the development, review, and implementation of academic programmes.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the University academic calendar and timetables,
ensuring capacity optimization. - Ensure strict conformance to academic rules, regulations, and accreditation requirements from professional and statutory bodies
- Analyse admissions data and market intelligence to inform University strategy.
- Promote student satisfaction and retention
- Ensure compliance with the established Quality Management System.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
- A minimum of a MasterÂ’s degree from an accredited university.
- A qualification in Education will be an added advantage
- A relevant and recognized professional qualification.
- Â Membership to a relevant and recognized professional body.
- At least five (5) years of relevant working experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory position.
- Proven experience in managing complex examination processes
- Experience with examination bodies, academic regulations, policies, and quality assurance frameworks
- Proficiency in using academic management information systems.
- Possesses leadership and team management skills.
- Possesses strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools & AI.
