Reporting to DVC-ARS
- Teaching areas allocated by the Head of Department.Â
- Designing, developing, planning and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.Â
- Delivering high-quality lectures and practicals.Â
- Overseeing clinical practice, providing students with real-world learning experiences and guidelines in industry settings.Â
- Reviewing course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.Â
- Collaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities.Â
- Carrying out research and writing research grant proposals.Â
- Seeking and participating in consultancies.Â
- Presenting research papers at national or international conferences and other similar events.Â
- Disseminating research outputs.Â
- Providing mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.Â
- Ensuring all academic activities align with the standards of the Council of Legal Education.Â
- Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
? MasterÂ’s in Law (LLM) from an accredited university.Â
? Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited university.Â
? Registered or registrable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent DoctoralÂ
degree qualification.Â
? At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experienceÂ
? Demonstrate potential for university teaching and research.
